Okay, it’s still a week away, but I’m already getting in the spirit – dusting off my soda bread recipe, putting corned beef and cabbage on my grocery list, listening to Irish tunes and planning a predominantly green wardrobe for most of next week. Part of my excitement with this holiday might be the timing. It seems to mark that point in the winter when the worst is behind us and spring is just around the corner. There will be more storms, but we’re definitely on the downhill side of wicked weather.
